Evolutionary cell biology of the nucleus.

We study the evolutionary origins of nuclear organisation and architecture, with a special interest in nuclear remodelling through the cell cycle.

We are part of the Cell Biology and Biophysics Unit at EMBL.

Our Research.

Eukaryotes use a bewildering array of mechanisms to organise and remodel their nuclei. We aim to understand the underlying regulatory principles and evolutionary origins of these mechanisms. Read on!

Our Team.

We opened our doors at EMBL on the 1st of January 2021. We hope to make the lab an interdisciplinary, inclusive, diverse, exciting and fun place to work! Meet our growing team!

Our papers.

Community.

We believe that science doesn’t happen in a vacuum, and we are keen to contribute to community efforts in publishing reform, science policy advocacy and career development. Take a look at some of our projects outside the lab, and get involved!
