Welcome to the Lab, Kausthubh!

Better late than never!
Last month we had the pleasure of welcoming our second PhD student to the lab!

After a successful stint working at the EBI, Kausthubh will add a computational dimension to the group, and we are hoping for some major assistance with all the bugs in our code!
While he has physically joined us only recently, he has been dialling in to nearly every lab meeting throughout the lab’s short existence!

For his PhD he will work towards reconstructing the ancestral Opisthokont nuclear structural proteome using phylogeny-aware network approaches.

We are excited to finally have you here in person!
